At an information evening, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg presented the test track and answered questions from interested citizens. The introductory lectures and a panel discussion gave a compact overview of the objectives of the test track, equipment features and the development status of automated driving.
Afterwards, visitors were invited to have technical details explained to them at three market stands and to discuss future issues with experts:
- How does the test track work? Which technology will be installed, how will the infrastructure look like?
- What happens on the test track? What are the goals of the project?
- How does automated and networked driving change traffic?
